My first sentence was "me do it", and I have always gotten a thrill out of living through first-hand experience, whether that would be touching the iron after my mother's warning that it was hot, taking up motocross, or living the life of a character in completely different circumstances than myself. I was adamant about doing things myself and pushing the limits. In fact, if you were to ask my parents their key words to describe me, they would say "mischievous", "determined", and "stubborn", key traits that have bled into characters I embody as an actor. As a child, my imagination was wild and untethered, and I constantly created stories in my head. My first theater was the living room in my parents' house that looked out onto the sprawling front yard and the street. I became a devoted storyteller, even if I was the only one there to speak and listen.
From an early age I found my place through storytelling. I attended Sewanee: The University of the South because Tennessee Williams left his estate to the school and his characters' stories were so intriguing. Sewanee also led me Michael Howard Studios, as a professor of mine was close to the studio. Since moving to New York, I have been working in film, television, and commercial voiceover. I completed the Michael Howard Studios One- and Two-Year Conservatories. During the Second Year, I joined the second season of the web series "The Egos" and soon became a series regular, and constant collaborator with ENV. I also began my commercial voiceover career. I am currently a freelancing VO actor, and I most recently booked a national TV spot for the Macy's Star Signature Diamond Engagement Ring.
On screen I am the heroine or girl next door with an edge. I am seemingly naive and sweet, but I have a surprising bit of bite to my bark. I am wily and sincere. My favorite examples to describe this are Eve Harrington from All About Eve, Maggie in The Newsroom, and Fiona Gallagher in Shameless. Like me, they have strong wills, high aspirations, are plucky, filled to the brim with gumption, and never stop fighting for what they fiercely want.
I was born and raised in Texas, a face that might lead you to assume that I am a sweet southern belle, innocent and naïve. That would be a negative, ghostrider. The only thing remotely southern about me is my constant use of the word "y'all", and my family given name: Pagie. I am the fourth, and youngest, in a family tradition of Page's. Most people don't see the subtle switch of the "g" and "i" in my name, to which I reply, "I know, it's weird". And I love my non-conformative name. It is the perfect hint that you might not have me figured out as well as you thought you did, much like my type on film. I am full of surprises, the perfect mix of sweet, sassy, and salty, and undeniably Pag(i)e.
