Amanda Joy Shapiro aka AJ Shapiro (she/her) has 15+ years of combined entertainment industry experience and film studies education.
AJ started her own company, AJS Entertainment Services LLC to help producers as a Union Consultant with the paperwork and processes for SAG-AFTRA, etc., as well as provides Screenplay Critique services of comprehensive script notes.

Paralegal at a prominent NYC entertainment law firm;
Judge for a Long Island film festival;
Intern for a prominent NYC production office;
Various Research Assistance for film producers;

Earned a Bachelors degree in Cinema & Cultural Studies;
Earned an Associates degree in Liberal Arts;
Published a Graduate Thesis focused on Afterlife Cinema; and
Wrote an Undergraduate Thesis focused on Hollywood Remakes of Western-European Cinema.
