Dia A Soni is a multilingual South Asian actress. Some of Dia's notable film/TV appearances include ITV's 'Good Karma Hospital', MTV India's 'Elovator Pitch' by BBC Studios India and she was also lead in 'Shamanthakamini' a Telugu blockbuster film. Dia has been the lead in over 100 TV and Digital commercials in India, for brands including Domino's Pizza, Samsung, Google, Netflix, Hyundai, Vodafone, Air India, and Toyota NEXA among others.
Dia has trained at the National Institute for Dramatic Arts (NIDA) in Sydney. She was crowned Miss India Australia Int. in 2015 after which she was offered acting jobs. Dia started learning dance from a young age and performed an Indian Classical Contemporary Fusion dance for the talent portion of the pageant which led to her eventual win.
Dia studied MBBS at University and lends much of her free time to a number of philanthropic endeavors.
She was studying at a cafe when Anupam Sharma director of the 'UnIndian' spotted her and enlisted her in his film.
She is an avid bookworm and writer; she shares much of her poetry on social media and is credited as a co-writer on an upcoming web series.
