Ms. Jae's career started as an actress, director, producer and writer along with knowledge and training in all areas of Theater and Film Productions at Saint Augustine's College in Raleigh, NC. There she starred in the stage production "Flyin West" written by Pearl Cleage, a Saint Augustine's College Theater Production. Ms. Jae acted in numerous plays directed by her fellow thespians in the Theater Program. She wrote a screenplay "Restoration of Love" which was adapted to a stage production in which she produced and directed.
Ms. Jae also worked with another stage production "Rise" alongside Christopher "Play" Martin and Cheryl "Salt" Wray ". She also directed, produced and editing many film productions along with her special masterpiece, a documentary "Does Hip-Hop Raise Children?" This documentary paved the way for the next phase of her career. Upon graduation, she continued her journey in the world of entertainment focusing on directing and producing film productions such as "Apt. 36D" a short film written by Christopher "Play" Martin and Cheryl "Salt" Wray, "Welcome To Durham" a music video for the documentary "Welcome 2 Durham", and many more as Director of Film Development at Carolina Pinnacle Studios in Yanceyville, NC. Ms. Jae continued her love for the theater as Director of the Drama Ministry at Refuge Temple Church in Burlington, NC. There she wrote, directed and produced "Next Step Judgment" a black history production along with another stage production "Sunday Morning". Film still very much a part of Ms. Evans.
She worked as a Creative Director of Operations with HP4 Digital Works and Solutions as well as an Executive Director and Producer of Brand Newz, a positive news source. At HP4 Digital Works, she worked alongside Christopher "Play" Martin on many productions as director and cinematographer, such as Holy Hip Hop Awards Atlanta, GA. Ms. Jae also worked with Climbing Tree Entertainment, a management company, as a Video Concept Consultant and a Consultant with Genre Specific Entertainment, a promotions company. Jeffonda "Jae" Evans continues to make her footsteps in the sand. She has started her company J-Finest Entertainment. J-Finest Entertainment specializes in Artist and Business Management, Marketing and Promoting and Consulting. Her clients consist of authors, actors, models, singers and a fashion designer.
