Based in Los Angeles, CA and a graduate of the UCLA TFT Professional Program in Screenwriting, Vitor Cardoso was part of the writing team for the Nextflix documentary Larissa: The Other Side of Anitta. He wrote and produced the thriller Let Me Go, shot in Los Angeles and Lancaster desert in California, and served as writer, director and producer of The Black Box, a psychological thriller set in Hollywood Hills, scheduled for release in the upcoming U.S. summer.
As a screenwriter, he also penned several acclaimed documentaries including Mar Brasileiro, Design Thinking, Carbon Free, Amazonia Azul, and Nascer: Parto Humanizado no Brasil, all produced by Produtora Brasileira and distributed across platforms such as Globoplay, Apple TV+, TV Cultura, Canal Brasil, among others.
In film, he also wrote, directed, and produced the short films Apollo (winner - Gramado Cine Vídeo at the Gramado Film Festival), Maybe, and Let the Sunshine In, all shot in New York City, where he studied filmmaking at the New York Film Academy. Cardoso also directed and wrote the short films Fly A Way In LA (selected in over 10 festivals), Edward (screened in more than 20 festivals; winner - Short Film Factory in San Francisco, CA; nominated for Best Screenplay - Prague Independent Film Festival), and American Smile, starring Matheus Fagundes and Landon Lee.
He was the official entertainment columnist for Avianca Magazine and a film critic for Banco Santander's Blog do Esfera. In musical theater, he worked as artistic producer on Zorro - The Musical and as casting producer for productions such as Cabaret, Hello, Dolly!, and Crazy For You!.
With nearly 20 years of experience in corporate events, he works as an artistic director and scriptwriter for major brands like Google, Facebook, Mini Cooper, Unilever, and Nestlé. He has also contributed to international events such as Coachella, the Super Bowl, the Monaco Grand Prix, and Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.
