Alexandra worked as a background actress and on indie projects before studying Film at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. She then worked behind the camera in various departments of the Film Industry but most notably as a Photographer and Location Scout in Television, Film, and Commercials for some of the largest production companies in North America and globally.
