A filmmaker who chases his curiosity, he believes that films are a way to make change and create an emotional connection to an audience. Luke started his career in marketing for one of Australia's largest independent film distribution companies and through his time there worked his way up to being the Head of Theatrical Acquisitions where he collaborated with Universal, Warner Bros and Dendy Films.
Luke created The 48 Hour Destination where he wrote, produced and directed multiple episodes. The first season was received favourably drawing large audiences across Network 10, TVNZ and National Geographic. A second season was greenlit and continued with the same success.
Following his passion for travel, Luke directed and executive produced the large screen format feature documentary Beyond the Reef, filmed in 8K which premiered at the Brisbane International Film Festival following a release across Event and Village cinemas.
Luke has recently directed and produced the documentary Plant Delicious that aired on SBS and Grounded, a documentary exploring the impact that Covid had on the travel industry.
