Laura is an avid boxer and has competed in the ring as part of her stunt training. She is also trained in kickboxing, Taekwondo and Krav maga.

Laura has 4 siblings;1 Brother and 3 sisters. Laura is the second youngest.

Laura's love of stunts originally came from watching her mother play Lara Croft of the Playstation 1. Laura would spend hours copying the character on the screen. Laura's parents brought her the costume and guns for her 6th birthday. Her grandfather strongly encouraged this obsession and would dress up as the butler from the game (tray and target included) and would let her shoot him and sometimes lock him in the cupboard.

Laura had to stop filming on Bridgerton because she caught glandular fever. She was due to be in all episodes but her body had an allergic reaction to the glandular fever and she was rushed to hospital after a week of filming the ball scene in episode one. She then had another allergic reaction to the medication she was prescribed- which resulted in her not being able to return. If you look closely at the ball scene you can see her face is swollen; one of the rarer side effects of the fever.
