Ryan Fogal is a composer and cellist specializing in music for film and television media. He began his career working under the mentorship of Tom Holkenborg (Junkie XL), serving as an assistant writer on "Zack Snyder's Justice League."
Building on this foundation, Ryan has been a part of James Newton Howard's team, assisting to a range projects including "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes", "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore", and "All the Light We Cannot See." His work with Howard has provided him the opportunity to travel to sessions at Abbey Road and AIR Studios.
Ryan serves as the music coordinator for the Vail Dance Festival which features premier ballet and contemporary dance companies from across the United States. Additionally, Ryan collaborates in remote cello recording for various projects and composers.
Beyond his professional composition and performance work, Ryan is dedicated to music education. He collaborates with the non-profit organization Education Through Music to bring music education to underserved schools. His commitment to fostering musical talent extends to his work with the Burbank School District, where he teaches a strings program, and as a teaching artist with the Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles at Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA).
Ryan received a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Media Scoring from Berklee College of Music and resides in Los Angeles.
