Nicole Marie Hunt
- Actress
Nicole Marie Hunt is an Esper Studio trained actor and activist who has recently returned to New York after several years away working in activist politics and regional theatre.
In 2008 she left New York to work with the Obama campaign/administration and Progressive organizations like the NAACP, SEIU, OFA, and Repower America.
In 2015, Nicole left politics and Washington D.C. to be closer to her family in Detroit. While living in Michigan, performed on over 15 regional stages in 20+ productions, in 5 independent feature films and several shorts. After experiencing a major loss due to Covid-19, Nicole was reminded of how important it is to make the most out of every. single. day.
So, in order to better serve her soul and self, and to continue to grow as an artist, Nicole re-relocated to New York City in Spring of 2021 where she has performed on the stages of, and with, several New York theatres and theatre companies including New Perspectives, Triad, and Falconworks.
Always the activist, Nicole is especially drawn to theatre and film projects that are social-justice and issue-driven. She says, "...that type of work feels like home... As an actor, it's a blessing to get to pursue work that I am deeply passionate about in the company of some phenomenal artists and truly visionary communities".
