Matthew S. Findley, MBA, is an Appalachian filmmaker who attended film school at USC & UCLA, trained theatrically (principally under the Yale technique), and wrote 13 screenplays. His writing was characterized as Southern Stoicism meets Magical Realism.
In addition to his directorial and theatrical training, Matthew studied Clinical Psychology at Ateneo de Manila University. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, the Harvard-ish of Europe. Matthew speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese and liturgical Cherokee-Native American.
Two MixTape Productions projects, American Ego & Diversify, were previously distributed by Amazon Prime Video. Diversify received a ReFrame award from Women in Film LA and the Sundance Institute.
