Misam Avaz is born in Teheran - Iran, and grew up in Copenhagen - Denmark.
He and his brothers Mehdi and Milad , the writing-directing-producing team behind Denmark's Rocket Road Pictures and multiple Danish Oscars nominee "While We Live".
The brothers' debut feature, "While We Live," was nominated for five Danish Film Academy awards, including best picture. The film was sold at Cannes by LevelK and was distributed locally by SF Studios, receiving critical acclaim. Through production company Rocket Road Pictures. Among their projects, are audience successes , While We Live, the TV-series ALFA 2020 (won for best Nordic TV-series 2020) Collision 2019, all produced by Misam Avaz.
Misam Avaz established the Copenhagen-based production company A PRODUCTION witch are developing TV series as well as other features. The next upcoming project is Milad Avaz's debut feature "Better Times" (Bedre Tider.)
