Sofia Priovolou was born in Athens, Greece. She is an actress and director. In January 2024 she co-directed with Jeo Pakitsas her first theatrical play "The Life and Death of Jessica Brown" at the Experimental Stage of the National Theatre of Greece. In theatre, her participation as an actress includes the performances: "We Are in the Army Now" (Onassis Cultural Centre, Teatros del Canal, Münchner Volkstheater, Ringlokschuppen), "The End of Eddy" (National Theatre) directed by E. Adam, "Erotic Postcards from Greece" (Onassis Cultural Centre) directed by Anestis Azas/L. Kitsopoulou. In cinema she has participated as an actress in the films "Notias" by Tassos Boulmetis, "Detached House" by Ioakeim Mylonas and "Flux" by George Bougioukos. "Dracaena" is her first short film; she wrote the screenplay and co-directed with Ioannis Panagiotidis.
