Glenn McBride Jr is an multi awarded winning actor, writer and director based in Long Island, NY. His earlier childhood influences were Eddie Murphy, Robert Townsend and Keenen Ivory Wayans.
He is a film graduate of The Art Institute Of New York City, where he was awarded 'I Am A Success' which recognizes the extraordinary work of students in their chosen field for his buddy cop thesis film 'Traffic Cops' which he directed, written and starred in alongside Giovanni Lozada and Cheron Bey.
in 2020 his comedy web series 'Supply & Demand' that he wrote and directed was nominated and won numerous film festivals such as the SuperIndie Los Angeles Film Festival for 'Best Comedy Short, the Hollywood Blood Horror Festival for "Best Action/Adventure" and an Honorary Mention' for 'Best TV Pilot/Web Series' by the Independent Short Awards.
As an actor he won "Best Acting" in 2019 for the Long Island 72 Hour Film Festival for his role in the comedy "Millennial Cop" and acted in the award winning sci fi short 'Polybius' starring horror movie legend Tom Atkins. He just finished acting in the upcoming feature film comedy 'Stir Up Crazy' as well worked behind the scenes as co producer on the project and finish acting in the independent mob comedy 'Good Friday'.
He was awarded as a writer 'Best Comedy Short' by the New York International Film and Oniros Film Awards for his script 'The Come Up' with his writing partners comedians Eugene T. Barnes and Ryan Roman and was awarded the Jury Award for 'Best Screenplay/Short' by the Only The Best International Film Awards for his cop comedy 'Low Pro Po' with Jimmy Kelly and Brannon Brass.
This year he is teaming up again with fellow writers Jimmy Kelly and Bannon Brass in a Christmas comedy about a guy who knocks up his wife and mistress at the same exact time and has to keep both of them happy and deal with both their pregnancies. He will be co starring alongside lead actor Brannon Brass. The movie is titled 'Pull Out'. And after 8 years he will be teaming up again for the sequel to his buddy cop comedy 'Traffic Cops' titled 'Traffic Cops Zombie Corpse' a horror comedy spin off with Giovanni Lozada and Cheron Bey.
