Bjørnar Utne-Reitan

Bjørnar Utne-Reitan (b. 1994) is a classically trained composer and arranger from western Norway. He grew up playing drums and percussion in multiple marching bands. While specializing in music in High school, Utne-Reitan got interested in music theory and composition. This led to undergraduate studies in musicology at the University of Oslo and postgraduate studies in music theory at the Norwegian Academy of Music. Utne-Reitan has previously written music for chamber groups, concert bands and symphony orchestras.
