- Cheyenne Brando was a Tahitian model and the daughter of Marlon Brando by his third wife Tarita Teriipaia, a former Tahitian actress whom he met while filming Mutiny on the Bounty in 1962.
Cheyenne was raised in the island of Tahiti, south of Papeete. Her parents divorced in 1972.
As a child, Cheyenne reportedly adored her father and bragged about him. As she entered her teenage years, her feelings towards him changed.
Cheyenne eventually dropped out of high school and began taking drugs including LSD, PCP, marijuana, and tranquilizers. During this time, she began a modeling career.
In May 1987, Cheyenne began dating 23-year-old Dag Drollet. His father, Jacques Drollet, was a member of Tahiti's parliament. The pair were introduced through a get together, as the Brandos and Drollets had been longtime friends. In 1989, Cheyenne became pregnant with their child. At Marlon Brando's request, the couple moved to the United States and into Marlon's Mulholland Drive home to await the birth of their child.
On 16 May 1990, Drollet was fatally shot by Cheyenne's elder half-brother Christian at their father's home. He maintained that the shooting was accidental. He stated that earlier in the evening, Cheyenne told him that Drollet was physically abusing her. Later that night, Christian confronted Drollet about the abuse. Christian claimed that the gun went off after Drollet tried to take the gun away from him.
Christian Brando was immediately arrested and charged with first-degree murder two days later. The prosecutors of the case attempted to subpoena Cheyenne to testify at Christian's trial as they felt her account of the night's event was crucial in proving the shooting was premeditated. However, she refused to testify and fled to Tahiti. On 26 June 1990, she gave birth to a son she named Tuki Brando. Soon after Tuki's birth, Cheyenne attempted suicide twice and was hospitalized for drug detoxification in a psychiatric hospital. On 22 December 1990, Cheyenne was declared "mentally disabled" by a French judge and was deemed unable to testify in her brother's trial.
Without Cheyenne's testimony, prosecutors felt they could no longer prove that Drollet's death was premeditated. They presented Christian Brando with a plea deal. Christian took the deal and pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of voluntary manslaughter. He was sentenced to ten years in prison. He served a total of five years and was placed on three years' probation. In an interview given after his release, Christian stated that he doubted Cheyenne's accusations of physical abuse against Drollet due to her mental instability. "I feel like a complete chump for believing her," he said.
In the years following Drollet's death and her half-brother Christian's trial, Cheyenne's mental health steadily declined. She repeatedly entered drug rehab and psychiatric hospitals.
Cheyenne was later formally diagnosed with schizophrenia, became isolated from her former friends, and lost custody of her son to her mother (who raised him in Tahiti).
On 16 April 1995, Cheyenne hanged herself at her mother's house in Punaauia, Tahiti. - Actress

Cali Lili skipped several grades (having been tested as reading at college level in grade school) took her first college course in the entire works of Shakespeare, at age 13, never graduated high-school, never even went to a prom, was swooped up, landing at NYU, then completed her Masters' Degree on full scholarship with awards / stellar reviews for early works.
Cali is told that she was born "early" and "on the water." Her love of body surfing, all things "ocean" and all marine life, especially dolphins, has proven to her that this must be true.
Having experienced an extremely difficult childhood "on land," she does not revisit childhood memories and often speaks out against all forms of abuse.
Born of multi-cultural heritage, Cali is keenly aware and concerned with what she sees as a form of "tribalism" too often employed as "nationalism." Cali writes about these issues and acts accordingly when it comes to her public image.
Cali adores being an actor and takes that craft very seriously, but found herself turning down 3 acting offers, that she felt were disempowering to women, in order to "turn up" what she calls fempower (TM) by scraping together "half a shoestring budget" to build her "green" "off-grid," upcycled "floating" "surfshack" feMt0 (TM) studi0 at the Venice Beach Canals in Los Angeles, California where she makes "Signature" auteur Motion Pictures, Albums and Books, with "ToyBoxTechnologies" (TM) "HandMade2MakeADifference" (TM).
Based on the quality of her work as an artist, and her uncompromising dedication to excellence, she then raised modest financing for her upcoming Slate of Motion Pictures, Albums, and Books.
She works from the Cutting Edge Of The Pacific " (TM) Venus Beach (TM) at The Cali Lili Indies (TM) " where she stays "afloat" connected with her love and devotion to "rippling waters of the world," the "mother / sister ocean" energy, so inspiring to her work and life, in order to make social justice themed films, albums, and books.
Cali's degree included extensive studies in anthropology as well as performance techniques from all over the globe. She holds an added background of intense New York studies in dance /choreography.
She is proud to share her deep connection with "Mother Africa" and is greatly inspired by African culture, the cultures of Oceania, and that of her other diverse intercultural studies.
She has been granted the rights to the favorite novel of legendary Zane Grey by Grey's son Loren Grey ( writer and educator) for a film adaptation in which she will co-star.
Cali's career in movies began as a teenager, flying back and forth from NY to LA, while working as an "au pair."
As a kid, she "raised herself" in spite of an abusive childhood and vowed she would never marry, but she married her male partner in 2012, contrary to gossip that they were married earlier.
The Cali Lili (TM) Band recorded a completely original stand-alone "Urban / World / Rock " styled Singer-Songwriter Debut Album which forms the core of the soundtrack for her debut feature film :
Eve N' God: This Female is Not Yet Rated (TM) (2019)
Cali's films are inclusive of lgbtq characters and the authentic real lives of these characters. She also delves into the reality of "being female" and a "multi-cultural blend" who "appears to be white," in a biased world.
She made the feature length narrative motion picture with an ALL FEMALE production team during principal photography, earning it a Triple - F - Rating.
'eVe N'god this female is not yet rated (TM)' is perhaps, the first ( or one of the first ) production of it's kind : a theatrical feature length motion picture, in which the technical production roles employed only women during principal photography. She began pre-pre-production on this "fempoword" (TM) project in 2010, including rehearsal footage.
The partnership between Cali and Wings is unique and her work / films reflect upon relationships and gender / orientation / politics in culture and society in the 21st Century .
There is sometimes confusion over the fact she is in the lgbt community while also being married to her hetero male partner ( who is not in any way involved nor does he participate in her relationship with her girlfriend). These themes are discussed as part of her projects, sharing stories about the authentic lives of characters navigating the "waters" of the 21st Century.
As a young Indie Performer and Creator, Cali and her partner, veteran actor Wings Hauser along with Cali's team of handpicked skilled film and music professionals, are producing a growing catalogue of original films and songs.
Cali is already busy in preps for the next green-lighted project, using her proprietary methodologies as described in her book "The Declaration of IndiePenDance" (TM)
Cali previously worked in a collaboration agreement deal with Academy Award winning Dutch producer, Hans de Weers (Antonia's Line) which ended when Cali realized it was time to build her own tiny studio, in order to make projects that empower Women, LGBTQIA , Civil Rights and Climate Science communities.
With legendary Edward G. Robinson as one of the distinguished members of her ancestry, Cali dedicates herself to honoring a tradition of excellence and earning her "place" as an up-and-coming young artist.
Her wish is to continue sharing her heart with the hearts of the beautiful fans she hears from, daily.

She was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role.
LaGarde was born in Tahiti, the largest island of the Windward group islands in French Polynesia. She was fluent in Tahitian and French, but never learned English.
The film "Hawaii" was based on a novel by James Albert Michener (1907-1997), and concerned the life of an American Calvinist missionary in Hawaii. She was hired for the role, despite not having any active experience.
LaGarde was given an acting coach, "who phonetically trained her to handle her character's dialogue." Her facial beauty and large frame gave her a commanding presence among the film's cast. She was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, becoming the first "the first Indigenous person ever nominated for an Academy Award". The Award was instead won by rival actress Sandy Dennis (1937-1992). LaGarde won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Following her only acting role, LaGarde retired to civilian life in Papeete, Tahiti. She died there in 1979. She was about 55-years-old, and no cause of death was announced to the press. - Actress
