Leslie Bricusse nasceu o 29 de janeiro de 1931 em Londres, Inglaterra. Era autor e compositor e foi conhecido pelo seu trabalho em O Fantástico Dr. Dolittle (1967), A Fantástica Fábrica de Chocolate (1971) e Adorável Avarento (1970). Foi casado com Yvonne Romain. Morreu o 19 de outubro de 2021 na França.
