Was picked to succeed David Cassidy as Keith Partridge on A Família Dó-Ré-Mi (1970). But this didn't work out because the series was canceled following Cassidy's departure.
One of the biggest compliments I've gotten over the years came from a fan who said that, if "Land of the Lost" was any indication, Kathy (Coleman) and I would have made excellent "Doctor Who" companions. Granted, it might well have been fun to modify some of our catchphrases from the former show, IE "Run, Holly! Run; there's a Dalek!"
