When I write music, it's me and my piano... I sit down, start freestyling and then come up with chords and melodies. The lyrics either come freely or are found deep within the pages of my many notebooks. Throughout my youth and my career as an artist, i never stopped writing - i do it consistently and habitually. I have countless notebooks full of scribbles, poems and stories. Sometimes i just sit at the piano after a long day and just play whatever comes, and then boom! Theres a cool chord progression happening and the lyrics come automatically. When that happens, is like pure magic.
