Currently, Simone plays the leading role of 'Tweet' in Truffle Sauce, a coming-of-age drama short film directed by Isaac Yowman (Sony's upcoming biopic DJ Screw) and written by Shannan E. Johnson. The film examines how trauma presents itself when an unhealed and misguided 25-year-old college student tries to escape the grips of human trafficking by selling truffle sauce.
