Christine Buchmann is an Austrian born actress and filmmaker. She grew up in Carinthia, the most southern state of Austria, and later studied acting at Vienna's English Theatre Academy, which at the time was partnered up with ALRA and then Rose Bruford. She graduated in 2020 and landed her first movie role as a day player in "Anja Salomonowitz's Sleeping with a Tiger" which premiered at the Berlinale in 2024 and stars Birgit Minichmayr as Maria Lassnig.
