Mihály Székely nasceu o 8 de maio de 1901 na Hungria. Era ator e foi conhecido pelo seu trabalho em Díszelöadás (1955) e Erkel (1952). Morreu o 22 de março de 1963 em Budapeste, Hungria.

Bluebeard in Béla Bartók "Herzog Blaubarts Burg" (Bluebeard's Castle) with
the composer himself.
