For their first few years, Obariyon and Kodama never spoke, and Kobald was the only member of the Batiri who would talk during promos. This changed after Deucalion destroyed Kobald at the CHIKARA return show "CHIKARA You Only Live Twice" on May 25th, 2014, as Obariyon and Kodama spoke on camera for the first time in a video posted to CHIKARA's YouTube channel.
