Jarrod Walker was born in Hamilton , New Zealand and moved with his family to Sydney, Australia in 1987.
He worked as a Professional Makeup Artist before moving into TV Broadcast Operations.
In 2002, after Writing and Directing the short film 'Down to the Wire', (a finalist for the BBC New Filmmakers Award in 2002 and screened at the Portobello Film Festival in London & Brief Encounters Short Film Festival in Bristol, UK) he worked in various TV Post Production & Editing facilities in London before transitioning into Satellite/Broadcast Engineering.
Jarrod was a writer/critic for Australia's Filmink Magazine for almost two decades and currently writes for filmink. He now resides in Canberra, Australia with his wife and children and talks all things Film, every Friday on ABC Radio Canberra.
