A long-standing member of the Hollywood Community, Tom Odar specialized in linear and non-linear editing, having worked with notable production companies and studios such as: Sony, Fine Living Channel, ABC Family and Disney Channel, to name a few. He also works on numerous television pilots, webisodes, commercials, celebrity profiles and documentaries. For the past 10 years he has specialized in promos, sales presentations and editing many sizzle tapes that have been sold and aired on TV.
Also a filmmaker, his short film "The Storm" (1996) has won many film festivals including Worldfest Houston, Flagstaff and Telluride.
In 2010 Tom branched out into the documentary film-making world. He made Shattered Hope (2010) and edited The Arctic Expedition (2018). He then wrote, produced and directed the movie Beyond Weight Loss (2020).
Today, with his 26 years of experience, Tom continues to make films, teach the art of editing and educate the younger generation about the tips and tricks of film-making.
Tom is in production on Beyond Weight Loss 2, as of 2023. A sequel to his popular documentary.
