Max Benator is an award-winning producer and entertainment entrepreneur that serves as CEO of Mirus Content Works, which develops, incubates and advises businesses that sit at the intersection of content and commerce.
Instrumental in the forming of Doing Things Media, Max has helped it become one of the fastest growing networks on Instagram with an audience of over 60 million followers and a viewership of over 500 million views per month.
Additionally, Max is a partner in Sundance Award-winning animation studio Cartuna. The Brooklyn-based studio was nominated for the Annie Award for Best Television Production in 2019 for their animated series Human Kind Of. Cartuna's partners and clients include NBCU, Comedy Central, HBO, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Desus & Mero on Showtime and many others.
Max has produced over 100 episodes of television and digital entertainment, including serving as Executive Producer on Nat Geo WILD's Howie Mandel's Animals Doing Things. In the feature film world, Max served as Executive Producer on The Chosen, which reached #1 on iTunes and Rock Steady Row which won both top Grand Jury prizes at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2018.
Max founded the entertainment studio Supergravity in 2014 with a mission to develop, produce and distribute filmed entertainment for digital platforms inclusive of Netflix, Amazon and YouTube. Supergravity had multiple #1 hits on iTunes including the hit Australian documentary Gayby Baby. Supergravity was acquired in 2017 by AT&T's Otter Media.
As a frequent public speaker, Max delivered a keynote at VidCon and has spoken at SXSW, Comic-Con and NATPE. Earlier in his career Max was recognized by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the 50 Most Powerful Executives in Digital Entertainment.
