Bonnie Orr

Bonnie Orr was born in High Point, North Carolina. She has a master's in communication and a Ph.D. in marketing/advertising from the University of Texas at Austin. Bonnie completed the graduate-level professional program in screen writing at UCLA. She wrote and co-produced her own TV pilot called "Poodle Dog Lounge." She was the head of Development and Production at Ranch Studios for three years where she wrote and produced "The Lights", "Secret at Arrow Lake", and "Corruption.gov". Orr has written several scripts for hire including a sequel to Contact. She co-wrote an adaptation with David Marion Wilkinson and Todd Allen of The Empty Quarter which has been optioned by Presidio Entertainment. She now runs her own production company called Palm Tree Productions where she is a producer and screenwriter.
