Ernie Hiyane is an American screenwriter, actor, film producer, composer and director. He grew up enamored with films. His career began in 2005 when he wrote and directed "Taking Chances", where he became friends with future collaborator Christopher Jason Bell. 2012 proved to be his busiest year serving as executive producer on Bell's short "Bridges" and Paul Taylor's "Cohesion." He also wrote, directed, produced and composed the score for his Spanish-language short "A Life in Shadows" which would later be screened at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. He was responsible that same year for co-producing the short "Jammin' With Freshie" which went on to not only premiere but win best short film at the Poconos Film Festival.
