Ogo Okpue is an award-winning British Nigerian filmmaker and VFX/motion graphics artist based in Essex, United Kingdom.
His award-winning self-produced debut feature film 'A Song From The Dark', a supernatural horror drama has been nominated, awarded and screened at various international festivals.
His previous short films have been nominated and screened at various UK and International festivals and events such as London Independent Film Festival, British Urban Film Festival, Crystal Palace Intl Festival, Creative Arts Festival, African International Film Festival, Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, just to name a few. He is also a recipient of the 2017 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards for Best Short film/Online Video and nominee for best short films at various international festivals. His short film 'Saving Cain' was shown on Shorts HD DirecTV Channel 573 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 1789 and his previous short film 'Cat Face' has been shown on various international VOD platforms since its release.
His film influences are Park Chon-Wook, Akira Kurosawa, David Fincher, John Woo, Michael Mann and Robert Rodriguez. Ogo is also an avid fan of south Korean and French cinema.
