Gurpreet Chahal Is a writer and Director. He is well known for his popular TV Film "Ji Janaab''released in 2018. This successful film paved the way for him to sign 4 more films and complete a 52-episode series, with the same reputed regional channel.
Harbouring a strong love for films, but not having the financial backing to support his passion, Gurpreet started his career in 2005 as a graphic designer. He then progressed to a 3D Generalist.
Not content with what he was doing and still aspiring to be a filmmaker he quit his job in 2009 and started freelancing. This proved to be a wise career decision since he got the opportunity to work on different projects of different magnitude and learned the nuances of filmmaking. From 2013 - 2018 he worked as a writer, visualizer, cinematographer, and Editor.
In 2012 he created the short art genre film Saudade. His first commercial break came with "Ji Janaab".
