This film was inspired by a real event that happened several years ago. Daphne was at Joshua Tree and climbed a rock. She got to the top of it, and was suddenly frozen because of her of fear of heights. She couldn't move for an hour and half, and while Daphne was terrified, she could see how incredibly funny it really was. She decided that it had all the elements for a smart, funny, and yes, dramatic love story.
