Dad's View

The main foundation of this story is based on true events. It is a combination of the writers (George Carson) experiences with the birth of both his sons. His first son's birth went really well and he remembers every second of it. The midwife wrapped the baby in a blanket and George couldn't speak he was so overwhelmed with emotion. His second son's birth was traumatic and shattering. The baby was born purple & lifeless and the doctors grabbed him and fought for his survival. Fortunately, he did survive and grew up with no ill affects from his experience. For the film, George imagined what it would have been like if the second baby didn't survive and how it would have affected his life.
