Call me biased but somehow writers/directors for this love team know what they're up to.
I love the premise of the story, you can definitely feel the world building up to the present day. You'd feel bad for our protagonist Tenten for his humble start, until he meets this penpal of his. Years later he seemed to have a normal life and as fate dictated, the two penpals met.
I honestly haven't finished this series but I did reach the love triangle between Tenten, Serena and her childhood friend(played by Matteo). Where the three of them have to make choices for their family, lover, or themselves.
The rivalry was satisfactory, albeit cliché. You can feel the tension between the characters, and you'll even feel bad for (Matteo) here.
The dialogue was well-written, and the humor was well-timed and not overly cheesy. It's honestly difficult to pull that off, not gonna lie. Kudos to the director/writer. I will check up on their other works.
