A good entertaining film. The film depicts the journey of a simple girl through various events of her life ultimately leading her to one truth i.e. in the race for love, fame, wealth she almost looses her soul, only to realize, repent and reconnect back to the creator of this world. The songs and glamour is keeping in tide with the typical bollywood masala routine. The performance of the leading lady Raai Laxmi is amazing and she carries the entire film on her shoulders very well. She sure deserves the best Bollywood debutante award for 2017. The director has done a fabulous job. Not easy to bring to screen spirituality and glamour. It is sad that the press has thrashed a brilliant eye opener film. Reminds me of Andaz Apna Apna how it was written off,nyet today is considered a cult film. Julie 2 is sure to leave a lasting mark on bollywood if not for this generation the generation to follow.
