Script writer Jude had said that Director Tom approached him after seeing his Facebook post saying that he has a script ready for sale. Jude was in need of money and had put up the post looking for probable buyers. Tom then went on and changed the major portion of the script and according to Jude, the only 'Jude thing' that remains in, it is the title. Jude also said that this is the reason he requested the makers not to credit him as the writer.

The UK release was cut, the distributor chose to reduce a number of scenes of strong bloody violence in order to obtain a 12A classification. An uncut 15 classification was available.
