A Taste of Kink

James Avalon directed "Shades of Kink" as a series for Sweet Sinner, and since moving over to Canadian sister label Erotica X he made this series in the same vein. Main difference is the Hall of Famer's abandonment of full story features in favor of nearly all-sex vignettes, of which this is an excellent example.

The four segments are all romantic and feature lovely photography, aimed like all Erotica X releases at the dwindling Couples market. Each scene has something to offer and something kinky, in a BDSM Lite way.

Karlee Grey is stunning once again in "Role Playing", which begins with her and Jean Val Jean being interviewed (off-camera voice is likely Avalon's) about brightening up their relationship with that title gimmick. So she dresses up in a schoolgirl outfit and he punishes her (with spanking) for not doing her homework.

But the real role playing is evidenced by Karlee murmuring "Daddy" during the XXX action, putting this into the incest bag, since nearly all current incest porn is identified as "family role playing", to avoid censorship. Her deep throat technique and fabulous eye contact make for a strong scene.

"Imagine" is the lead-off vignette, in which one of today's most beautiful and popular starlets Lana Rhoades struts her stuff. Set-up is simple: dominant boyfriend James Deen can't make it to meet with her at home, but on the phone he encourages her to imagine he's there, cuing fantasy eroticism. I find Deen's sex tropes tiresome, but one can overlook his casting by gazing firmly at Lana for the half hour or so.

Lesbian sex is explored in "Bound Excitement", with casting of Ana Foxxx, currently the premiere Black actress in porn, providing interracial content. She dominates Scarlet Red, and there is plenty of fetish paraphernalia included for the fans in a still romantic scene, even featuring an oversize feather for tickling.

Kate England continues to impress as a submissive to Lucas Frost in "Puppy Loving". Yes, she crawls around on all floors led by a chain leashed to her neck, and dutifully services him in sensual fashion. Her ability to affect a different look is terrific, as compare her heavy makeup visage with her purity in the Mormon porn DVD "Sister Pearl", shot around the same time as this one. And her Missile Nose Cone breasts are a stand-out.
