Fun and amusing Euro-spy spoof with two the greatest comedians : José Luis López Vázquez and Gracita Morales . Set in 1915 during WWI , it deals with the spy and dancer Matahari : Carmen De Lirio , gets away with his boyfriend to live a quiet existence with the help her maid Guillermina : Gracita Morales , then she should take her place and subsequently she meets German counterintelligence officer Von Faver : Jose Luis López Vázquez. Then , both of whom go beyond enemy lines, in France , and become botcher spies under command General Von Hindenburg by looking for plans of a valuable tank . But they are relentlessly pursued by other two French French spies : Antonio Ozores , Jose Luis Coll , while being helped/betrayed by a double spy : Pilar Velazquez.
This Operation Mata Hari is well starred by Jose Luis López Vázquez as head of Kaiser counterintelligence service , and Lina Morgan as a Mata Hari stand-in providing a real recital in which they show their portentous comedian abilities . Curiously and as trivia in a brothel shows up a lot of secondaries usual for Spaghetti/Paella Western Genre such as : Luis Induni, Tito García Luis Barboo and Victor Israel as a German Military .
