Trojan Eddie O Trapaceiro

Richard harris, stephen rae,stuart townsend. Eddie is a huckster at the local vendor booth.... can talk anyone into buying anything. But he's sick of turning the money over to someone else every day. So he decides to set up shop for himself. But he didn't plan on people disagreeing with his plan. He's already done time, and doesn't want to do any more. Add in the young couple who runs off with money that eddie owes to someone else, and now his life is even more complicated. It drags in the middle....lots of talking, fighting, arguing. And a couple times, the sound goes very low... not sure if that's the recording itself or the filmrise british channel. Either way, it's annoying. The film is okay; it gets pretty violent. Probably a good example of how rough things were in ireland at the time. Directed by gillies mackinnon.
