This series consisted fifteen fictional stories about the fighting of the Hungarian communists with fictional characters from János Fülöp. His book was published by the Military Publisher Zrínyi in 1983 in two parts (in Hungarian of course). The movie series was about the fights of the Hungarian communists during two decades, from 1919 to 1945. The main characters have fought in the First World War and the Tanácsköztársaság (The Soviet Republic of Labours in 1919, the "glorious 133 days"), later in the illegality till the end of the Second World War. In this series have appeared the all the leading Hungarian actors and actresses (since that time some of them have died). This was the pre-series of the series "Egy óra múlva itt vagyok" (e. g. "I will be after the next hour") from József Pintér.
I love this series "Bors" and I'd like to buy it on DVD (but unfortunately, I couldn't do it according to the current circumstances in Hungary -> the people try to forget the past forty years of the Hungarian history).
