Twisted Metal 2

"Twisted Metal" was a great game, but this is better. The world tour concept adds a greater texture and scope to the game and the levels are more exciting. The vehicles are better, there are more realistic physics and all (not that it really matters though) and the game itself is just about one of the best 2-player combat videogames on the market.

"Twisted Metal" had a few flaws in its actual gameplay and the vehicles weren't as nice as the ones here. Calypso is bada$$ in this and you get a wealth of new vehicles to blow stuff up with.

My favorite level is Paris, where you can actually go up into the Eiffel tower, arm your vehicle, then blast out the top and shoot your enemies on the ground as you're falling. Awesome, addictive stuff.

"Twisted Metal 3" came out next and was the worst of the series. "TM4" in 1999 fixed the problems.
