Rent-a-Person

This is a well-written, well-produced comedy-drama with a fantastic score filmed entirely in black and white. James Haven's acting is commendable, and he makes a strong attempt at singing! Mr. Kuenne should be proud of his creation. At a relatively short 15 minutes or so, the film is remarkably entertaining, never dull and sweeps you up in the fantastical life of a poor lowly bathroom attendant. The concept of the film, renting oneself to drivers to permit them access to the carpool lane, is unique, as is the producer/director/writer/composer. I've seen it 5 times and the tears begin to flow every time. Well done. Hopefully Mr. Kuenne will be given credit where credit is due and continue to produce such entertaining works.
