Payal Rohatgi's sole success

Tauba Tauba review :

A 2004 surprise hit at New Empire (Mumbai) and Payal Rohatgi's only box office success. She oozed sex appeal in each and every scene even as Lagaan (2001) ka chokra Amin Gazi wooed her hopelessly as a sex starved bachcha. His pappa is equally sex starved. So is pretty much everyone in this nonsensical misadventure which actually worked well at the box office as the audience itself was pretty much sex starved at that time. That also explains why Neha Dhupia's Julie (2004) became a hit that same year. Saw Tauba twice at Premiere Cinema, Parel. Julie was Citylight, Matunga.
