I really like the movie, but one of the most surprising elements is the inclusion (or should I say stealing?) of the "Lord of the Rings - Isengard Theme music" in the middle of the movie during the air raid. How is that even possible?
On the other hand, the movie builds tension effectively and shows what the life of soldiers looked like during this era. It reminded me of the stories my dad used to tell. This movie is definitely a good choice for any WW2 history enthusiast. Of course, some details are more dramatized for the purpose of the movie, but this does not detract from the overall experience.
The film does an excellent job of portraying the camaraderie and struggles of the soldiers, making the viewer feel as though they are right there in the midst of the action. The cinematography captures the stark, cold beauty of the Russian landscape, adding a layer of authenticity to the story. The characters are well-developed and their performances are compelling, adding depth to the narrative.
Worth to see.
