Attack of the Barbarians

The time travellers land in the 13th century...the time of Marco Polo. Also, Tony falls in love.

The previous two episodes (Chase Through Time, The Death Merchant) were two of my five very favourites of the whole series...so Attack Of The Barbarians had to follow all that, it does so with class, not as good as the last two shows, but still good fun.

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea only had one Admiral Nelson (Richard Basehart) romance in the whole series (Time Bomb) and the time travellers only had one romance in the 30 adventures: Attack Of The Barbarians.

John Saxon is outstanding as Marco Polo, the location filming is great, the conversations in the Tunnel command centre are almost as much fun as the main setting conversations and the stock movie music playing over the whole thing brings it all to life.

What can say: this is great!
