I have been a big fan of daring! Media over the past decade, and was pleased to see the recently quiescent porn label return, without fanfare, as part of Private Media, the much older (50 years plus) Euro porn giant.
"Barcelona Nights" is numbered 2 in the new branding by Private, with another recent title "Behind Closed Doors" listed as number 4 in the series. It marks daring!'s return to its original Spanish nationality (after being a Brit Porn staple for a long stretch), with local director Xavi Rocka at the helm.
The 5 vignettes set in Barcelona utilize a less familiar femme cast than usual, though he ubiquitous French star Tiffany Doll leads off with a solid d.p. threesome turn.
Most unusual scene capitalizes on a recent gimmick that could conceivably become a craze in porn (I recently saw an okay version of it in a Whitney Wright episode of Gamma's "Pure Taboo" series): the life-size sex doll as a protagonist in a sex vignette.
Attractive redhead Sofia Curly is wondering what her impotent hubby is up to, and tracks him down to a brothel where she catches him in the act of humping a lovely sex doll. Why one would go to a brothel for that purpose is left unexplained, but the incident turns both protagonists on and they have a strong sex scene, the doll forgotten, and he's able to ejaculate on cue. Director Rocka missed the obvious opportunity to involve the doll in threesome fashion, robbing the intriguing scene of its intended kinkiness.
