"Elka" is a masterpiece

I'm quite surprised there aren't any reviews on this well-animated, breathaking musical adventure. It's one of the best Russian animated movies both in terms of story and in terms of music, voice acting, etc. It needs more appreciation from the viewers worldwide. I reccommend "Elka" for everyone who loves good animation and is eager to watch some hidden cartoon gems.

The animation may look too angular at first, but soon you'll find yourself enjoying big facial expressions, impressive CGI incorporated in 2D animation. It features a number of songs with memorable melodies and lyrics. Besides, it has a distinctive style and atmosphere, so you're likely to remember it after you watch it.
