Director/screenwriter/executive producer Christie Will Wolf and actress Amélie Wolf, who portrays Parker McQueen, are real life mother and daughter.

Gavin, Hannah, and Parker, Gavin's daughter, all ride bicycles to a blueberry farm to pick blueberries. Afterwards on the ride back or walking bikes would be a better term, there is no Parker with them. (Around the 30 min. mark). But, Hannah does say that Parker's grandparents were happy to babysit her then, explaining Parker's absence from that scene.
