A sweet story about the war of two venerable men for proprety rights for a pond. Nice crafted characters, fair story - not knowing the book inspiring animation, this adaptation is only subject for me-. The dose of unrealism is just charming and the story itself works just pleasant.

A conflict and a terrible vandalisation, a sister and here brother dominated by Peter Pan syndrome but saved by a kind girl and her grandmother and the atmosphere of Christmas working just well.

In short, just beautiful, including for moral. And, sure, for the happy end, nice crafted reconciliation without punishments or remorses. Indeed, a motif for love this short animation, in my case, remains the few traits common with charming Mr. Whisker.
