Easily the best look into what is known about Bach!

This documentary makes knowing Bach incredibly accessible. There have been decades of books and videos surrounding Bach, but nothing I've seen comes to being as well researched and supported while being wonderfully hosted. Dr. Chin makes the conversations surrounding Bach personable and it feels as digestible as daily conversation. He has brought out the hidden minds of the top Bach scholars of our generation, and tapped into their exuberant sharing of the Bach facsimiles and exhibitions. I enjoyed this documentary in its entirety and in the episodic version that was published before. Another plus point is that Dr. Chin hosts an equally wonderful version of his documentary in Mandarin, opening the otherwise rare doors to billions of native Mandarin speakers to enjoy this monumental exposition on Bach.
