The Beauty of Love

I'm a big fan of these calm, small-scene, pandemic-filmed movies, and this is probably the most chilled-out storyline I've ever seen. The main setting s so peaceful and the product-making is so relaxing the production team could have set up a real-life store and soothed the world. Having two generations really balances out and emphasises the fresh versus familiar/comfort angle, we all need a bit of both, no matter what stage of life. The characters are great - no ulterior motives, just all finding their ways in changing situations, like the rest of us. I love that there's very little upbeat music - makes the movie perfect for going to sleep to at night on re-watches.
